Review about AUM Yoga Astoria
Did you know that there is a place where they give you a solution to insomnia? Or digestive problems? And all of this within a yoga workshop? Yes! AUM Yoga Studios provide you with a solution to internal problems to help you lead a more fulfilling life. Their yoga center on Astoria is complete with more than one classrooms. It is not only a yoga studio in Budapest – it is a whole hub of yoga-related classes, seminars and meditation. A real sanctuary. From physical ailments to those that mar the soul, this yoga spot helps you find a way to manage anything that may cross your path.
So, what are the practical things you need to know? YogaYogi advises you to arrive at least 20 minutes before a class. This is actually designed for your own good – this way you can unwind a bit before class and change without a rush. Oh, and bring plenty of water. A great thing is that they provide you with every accessory that you might need to do the yoga exercises: mats, blocks etc.
One great thing is that they provide you with a nice assortment of herbal and fruit teas, but – I say this with experience – try not to drink too much before class, because it might get a bit uncomfy! Afterwards, the more tea or water you drink, the better.
A yoga studio in Budapest that is a complete hub
The classes themselves and the locker rooms are equipped properly, but of course, even with the registration, it can get a bit crowded sometimes. The quality of the classes and workshops however, the vast knowledge of the teachers makes up for any hiccup you may encounter otherwise. They guide you with expertise and patience, so you needn’t worry if you are a complete beginner. You will soon realize that you can completely let go of yourself during class.
One thing that you need to be aware of: if you register for a class, be sure to check your emails before they start (at least the night before,) because sometimes it can happen that you miss the e-mail and you show up to an empty studio because class was cancelled, and that’s quite the opposite of relaxing and letting go of stress… Other than that, they have a nice variety of classes, from simple Hatha yoga to more specialized areas, like prenatal yoga.
All in all, the concept of having a big hub for yoga and self-healing. A kind of lifestyle center that rests on a great concept. They have the knowledge and the high-quality teachers, they know exactly how to transfer the philosophy to even complete newbies. However, there is something to be done about the organisation of classes so everything can go without a hitch.
