Recipe for Golden Milk
You can change the amount of each spice according to your taste. Some like more turmeric, some like less.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A little pepper (it helps the body to absorb the curcumin in the turmeric)
- A pinch of cardamom
- 400ml milk or non-dairy milk
- Honey to taste
Preparation
Pour the milk into the bowl, add the spices and heat it up while constantly stirring. The golden milk can be sweetened to taste with honey.
If honey is added, wait until the milk has cooled down a bit, as the valuable enzymes in honey break down above 40 ° C.
